Designed for those with little or no clinical trial experience, this creative training takes you through a clinical trial, from start to finish, using easy-to-perform, easy-to-understand activities.

Undergraduate and post-graduate students learn why good design, careful control and good interpersonal skills are essential for the  smooth running and delivery of accurate, meaningful results for a clinical trial.

The Clinical Trial Experience workshop is fun and engaging, making the connection between learning at university and application in real-life. Students also learn about opportunities for careers rarely advertised outside the pharmaceutical industry.

We understand that workshops are not always practical or appropriate, so we also deliver our training using a range of interactive talks and presentations (typically 45 minutes to 1 hour).

The Clinical Trial Experience is directly applicable to

• Undergraduate and post-graduate courses in science, social sciences, psychology, pharmacy and medicine
• University societies and clubs with a focus, interest or potential career feed into clinical research (please note that we do not enter into debates on the ethics of clinical research)
• Student careers services (career options rarely publicised outside the pharmaceutical industry are included in this training).

Our clinical trials training may be delivered as a one-off lecture or via a series of lectures as part of an undergraduate or postgraduate teaching syllabus.

Our presentations also provide excellent educational input for meetings of university societies and clubs.

All training is conducted in a relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere at a venue of your choice. Choose a 45-minute talk; a one-hour talk; a series of talks or lectures or a 3½-hour workshop ... but please remember that we mix and match content and time-span to suit your needs.
